Today, more than ever before, it’s vital that you know your HIV status and – if you’re HIV positive – that you are seeing an experienced physician who can help you make the right decisions about your care.
Treating HIV early and accurately will help you live a healthy life.
At Common Ground, we provide a full range of services (many of them free) which will help you stabilize your life. These services include:
Linkage to Medical Care: If you don’t have medical care, we help you find, register with and attend your first visit with a local, experienced HIV physician. We can provide transportation to medical appointments.
Housing and employment: We’ll connect you to appropriate housing, whether it’s residential drug treatment, an emergency transition or permanent housing. We also provide links to financial assistance, tenant advocacy, job programs and other supportive services.
Mental Health: if you need support, we’ll conduct a thorough assessment of your mental health needs and connect you to the level of care most appropriate to your personal situation. We offer individual and group therapy to qualified individuals.
